About Us

Ben & Ashley Herzog met while attending Calvary Temple Master’s Commission in Springfield, MO. They were married in 2006. Six months later, they moved to Southern California for 11 years where they served in worship and Youth Ministry at two different churches. While there, God blessed them with two beautiful children, Evan and Olivia. They moved to Middle Tennessee in the summer of 2018. Ben was serving there as Associate Pastor till he was appointed Lead Pastor of Henderson Assembly of God in July 2022.

The Herzogs have a passion to create a place where everyone’s welcome, nobody’s perfect, and anything’s possible. Their family enjoys exploring Tennessee through hiking and frequenting parks. Ben loves a strong cup of coffee and being outdoors. Ashley enjoys reading and baking with her sourdough starter. Evan is into all things Dude Perfect and making paracord items. Olivia is a natural nurturer and loves taking care of her dolls and stuffed animals.

Chastity Reeves is one of the Kids Ministry Teachers for Henderson Assembly of God. For the last 16 years she has been a member of Henderson Assembly, often volunteering her time in different ministries throughout the years including working with children newborn to 12 years of age. Away from church, she is a special education Pre-K teacher at East Chester Elementary in Henderson. She and her husband James are now empty nesters after raising their five children, who have blessed them with many grandchildren to love and cherish. One of Chastity’s passions in life is to love children and tell them about their Jesus.
